Holiday Village Himmerki is a family owned company. Reijo and Helvi Lantto led the business over 25 years. Mrs. Johanna Lantto & Juhana Valo have ran the business since 2024.
Over the decades the incredibly beautiful scenery of Himmerki has hosted regular customers, as well as those who visit just once to experience the enchantment of this unique place resting in the embrace of Lake Kitka.
Over the years Himmerki has employed local talents and people who are willing to work in Posio Lapland. The valued personnel of Himmerki is like a big happy family.
Currently we’re hiring seasonal kitchen staff, chefs, waiters, wilderness guides and ski resort workers.
We use local services, food, repair etc. whenever it is possible. We want to help our nature to stay clean and affluent. Green Key and Sustainable Travel -sertificates strengthen our work not only for the nature but social and economical sustainability.
