The owners of Holiday Village Himmerki, Reijo and Helvi Lantto, bought this unique place more than 20 years ago. Since then, they have developed the place all the time.
Over the decades the incredibly beautiful scenery of Himmerki has hosted lots of regular customers, as well as those who visit just once to experience the enchantment of this unique place resting in the embrace of Lake Kitka.
The staff of Himmerki is like a big happy family! Most of them are local people. One of our values is to guarantee year-around work, so the little Posio village will stay lively and vital. We use local services whenever it is possible -no matter is it food or repair supplies!

Heart of our kitchen is our head chef Kirsi Revonmäki, who has worked with us since 2005. Under Kirsi’s friendly and firm leadership our staff prospers and develops better and better all the time.
